Once you get your password straightened out, you could maintain your subscription, but just cancel the daily emails. I did this years ago and have never gone back.  I prefer not to have my inbox crowded with every message or a daily digest that requires me to wade through all the noise on the list.  

Instead, I just visit this link when I want, click the 'date' link for the current month, and only read the posts I'm interested in.
