All the vendors have such, which are specific to the Pantera (and
Mangusta)- shop around. I wrote quite a long article on motor mounts a few years ago
in conjunction with lowering the powertrain, and noted that the vibration
isolators usually collapse at the bottom on one side, and they can be turned
180 degrees to even out the crushing over time from the powertrain's weight.
If that doesn't work, I noted that the same isolator is used top and bottom
as pairs on each side, and unless one of the pair is disintegrating from
age, heat &/or oil soaking, the top & bottom from each side can be
interchanged, a single good isolater can be sawed in two to make two entirely adequate
shorter isolaters, or the top assembly can be deleted. The top unit only
'isolates' on hard bumps so the average load it sees is practically
non-existent. If you delete or cut down an isolater, that side will require a 1"
shorter gr-5 bolt. We are currently running a cut-in-half isolater on each bottom
side with nothing on top in our street car. We notice no increase in noise
nor vibration. FWIW- J DeRyke
