Listers,
A Push-Button Pantera was added to the registry with a number of unusual
features.

This car was featured in Auto Motor & Sport (July 1972) and displays some
unusual features. If a German speaker could translate
some of the text (or paraphrase) I would appreciate it, as it might explain
a few questions I have, like does it mention that the owner modified the
car.
(I won't comment on the funky fender mirrors.)
Details indicate that it was produced for the European market, such as the
front quarter panel lights, VIN plate in the front trunk, Euro-Dash
switches, etc.
I'm wondering if this car was "held over" in inventory and sold into Germany
later in time, perhaps in the spring of 1972.
Some of the oddities I note:
It has the USA-style (Capri) steering wheel, and I was under the impression
that Euro-market cars (especially the early ones) received
a different wheel.
Push-Button production ended in early April 1971, yet it wears rounded-edge
bumpers which didn't appear until about March of 1972.
Note the access hole in the rear trunk tray (probably for the AC dryer).
Note the deck lid emblems and the "Powered By" emblem on the other side.
If you look closely you will see other details I'm leaving out.
Chuck
