Tom spends some serious time and money on his engine.
He uses Jessel shaft rocker arms, for example.
He has a lockout on 5th gear so he doesn't accidentally shift into it on a
downshift to 3rd.
He has it wound pretty tight at the end of the' straight' at TWS.

It sounds magnificent.
