[DeTomaso] A new Pantera trivia topic: cigarette lighter

Dear Julian,

Umm, this particular pair of power plug and Pantera cigarette
socket have worked in the past. IIRC, I did try the wiggle and rotate
option to no avail. I do now have a fix that may be permanent since I don't
use the cigarette lighter. I get the impression that the lighters are
pretty long lived and mine is a rare case or it needs a bigger jiggle or the
power leads reversed as Charlie mentioned.

                           Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Does the cigarette lighter have power for the cigarette lighter? i.e.
between the bottom pin that the lighter pushes onto and the body of the
socket?

I have encountered on a number of occasions the electrical device power
adapters do not make contact correctly within the older lighter sockets.
Sometimes it's a simple jiggle fix other times a different power adapter.

Good luck
Julian
