[DeTomaso] Heater control levers

You need to slip a thin shim or screwdriver into it from behind to release the latch.  It can be complicated and frustrationg but you'll figure it out.

New ones aren't too expensive.

How does one extract those chrome-plastic things from the actual metal levers.  
I need to replace one but can't get the old ones off.
