[DeTomaso] foam and styrofom insulation in evaporator housing?

Thanks for the suggestions. Would you use this material to replace just the styrofoam? I think the "other" foam needs to be much more compressible.

I have used TAP X-30 from TAP plastics, ideally you want something to
form it in and contain it i.e. a plastic bag. As Michael says its about a
30 to 1 expansion ratio.
