FWIW, my water neck leaks all ended the day I stopped using a gasket and
just used blue RTV.
Same for my oil pan and timing cover and ZF cover.
Still using a water pump gasket and an intake gasket and a head gasket.
As always, RTV performance subject to proper cleaning before application and
proper curing before fluid exposure.

neck/thermostat gasket for the 351C; some are cheap ordinary paper.

Note that the site incorrectly lists this as being an ordinary paper 
gasket.   The Summit website often leaves a bit to be desired in this
regard.   If 
you search for 'thermostat gasket' for a 351C, you get all the Stant paper 
offerings.   Only if you search on 'water neck gasket' are you offered the 
quality Fel-Pro gaskets (and you are NOT then offered the Stant ones).

Anyway, this one is the one you want.
