[DeTomaso] unions?

My wife and I have made the comment many times, that in America, a person could sell tamales on the side of the road and make a living if they worked hard enough. As a matter of fact, there was a guy down here who would cook BBQ (in Texas, it has to be pit cooked for 16 hours) at night, waking up every so often to go check the temperature, and then would go on the side of the highway and sell it. He told us he made $50,000.00/year - this was back in the '80's. I don't smirk very much, but when I go into the convenience store in the PM/evening, and see all the dudes loading up on 6-packs of been - I SMIRK. Dude, save your money, go buy a beat-up rent house, work on it at night, then buy another one!!! That's the old-fashioned American/capitalist way!! ---Bill (yep, I did that too - don't take two much braines) Lewis
