Ok, but I don't see any down side to using a pressure cap at that position
too, even a 4 psi cap, which are readily available.

Hi guys,

A guy in England had need of a stock cap for the original overflow bottle.  
 This cap is zero PSI, which makes it rather hard to find.   After a bit of 
noodling I was able to track one down at my local NAPA auto parts store; 
they are often used on tractors and other farm equipment, apparently.

This cap appears identical to an original cap I've seen, except that it's 
made in the USA.
