[DeTomaso] One-owner cars

In seeing photos of the factory and knowing that production was very
dependent upon suppliers like Ghia, ZF and Ford,

I'm not so sure that DeTomaso could have made any more of them any faster
anyway.

Appreciate any first hand knowledge of any problems that encountered in the
supply chain back then.

Seems like that since parts like bumpers and dashes, etc. were installed out
of sequence that perhaps

that was the cause, thus why a late model 72 ended up with a 2 pod dash,
maybe they were out of the new

ones and used what they had on hand ( left overs) until more arrived.
