[DeTomaso] NPC: MB 450SL Dead Battery

Well I finaaly did it for the first time in 22 years, I let it sit in
ignored too long, the battery is dead and there isn't enough power to unlock
the electric lock trunk lid which is where the battery is located.  The key
will not unlock the trunk lid either. &$#%

I tried to put a Battery Tender into the cig lighter outlet and got a no/bad
connection flashing light, then I reversed the polarity on the cig plug and
got the same flashing light.

Two questions, 1) is there a jump/ boost/charge location anywhere else to
anyone's knowledge?
2) Has anybody ever used one of those cheesey cig lighter plug to cig
lighter plug booster cable sets?
Did it work?
