It's no longer interesting, it's maddening.  Back in 2008, Rush Limbaugh
reported on the US Geologic Survey's results while the mainstream media's
propaganda response was to run stories about how the world is running out of
oil in general instead of reporting the Survey's findings.  For years,
mid-east oil could be produced at less cost than we could drill our own, so
it made sense for the US to not drill our own, but that has all changed with
increased worldwide demand for oil (mainly China), our unwillingness to
drill our own oil and political upheaval in the mid-east resulting in the
dramatic increase in oil prices.  Congress' response is to prevent our own
oil compainies from drilling our own oil due to environmentalist' pressure.
 The good thing about the Bakken is that they are drilling horizontally on
land which was approved for drilling long ago so it's harder for the
Environmentalists to shut it down.  The sad fact is that each successive
year, the US Geologic Survey shows the world's oil reserves increasing while
the public is fed the lie that we're running out of oil.
