Don't know what type of systems you all are using, but I have been running
Fuel injection on my 1988 GT5-S car for over 16 years now. And I can tell
you it runs way better than any carb setup. Yes early systems did not have
the ability to do a perfect job but they did run. And the new systems are
years ahead. If you know how to tune them and want a great system, Accel Gen
7 is a very stable system. This is the system I have had on my car for 10
years and it ran great from the first day. This is on a Cleveland 398 CID
motor with CHI heads solid roller cam, running full sequential. Any one that
has seen my car run on the Pocono track has seen how well it does run. If
you don't know how to tune a system, then one of the newer self learn
systems is probably better suited for you. Yes you need to load a start up
configuration but then it will self learn as it is driven. I am installing
one of the new Holley HP self learn systems on a 1888 GT5-S car now for just
that reason, a person that has no experience, and does not want to spend
time to tune the system. So problems that arise can be from the install, the
setup, sensors, injector size, and so on. And if you use the KISS theory you
will be far happier in the end. If you need any help e-mail me if you like.

                 Thanks, Malinmotors
