[DeTomaso] squeal

The stuff I use to test is called "Belt Dressing", in a spray can, available at common
auto parts stores I believe.

My Mercury Marine shop has something you spray on squealing belts, and it
works. I'm not suggesting you do just that and leave it alone, but you can
use it from beneath to make sure that's the source of your squeal

I don't know the science of it, maybe the A/F carmelizes on the synthetic
rubber or something, but personal experience over 30+ years has lead me to
always avoid getting any on the belts at all costs.
