[DeTomaso] NPC--WTF are these things?

    The silver aluminum(?) part with the bleeder nipple on it is an aftermarket component that was widely sold in the early to late 1970's for Porsches and other sports cars . Can't remember the correct name but its purpose was to dampen/control pressure spikes in the brake system ( pretty much like the cylindrical lump in the Pantera front trunk).
         ............... " Safety Breaker" is what it was called I think !!??  .........I am pretty sure they are no longer produced................  my 914-6 had one installed on it when I acquired it and I instantly removed ot. Still have it somewhere  .  .  .  .
