[DeTomaso] Steering Column; Power steering

That depends a little on the dash design when I get there. I am going to
make another fairing to finish out the steering wheel column but that will
depend on what I do with the dash. I am not sure if these will be on the
column on on the dash directly behind the steering wheel.

As far as control, there are a couple options. One is using turn signal
electronic boxes from the hot rod supplier. I am however, looking at
building my own circuit to control it with an encoder for the steering
column. One thing which always annoys me about turn signals is the catch
location and how they act in reference to it.

Some times you need to turn the wheel more for it to work right, or it
keeps clicking off if your right on the threshold, etc. With a simple
circuit I can program the on off rotation without mechanical discrepancies
and I can program things like turn turn signals off after certain periods
of time, or other creative things.

I am putting my heater and vent controls together now with a circuit which
will make it a little different then what is norm.
