[DeTomaso] Near tradgey last night

One method I've seen used before to help keep the broken spring in  
place uses six inch PVC pipe, ripped the length, placed around the  
springs and held in place with hose clamps (like those used on  
radiator hoses).  The whole assembly just rests on the springs, but if  
a spring breaks the pipe essentially contains the shrapnel.
