[DeTomaso] Dogbone airfilter questions

I've even read that some air cleaners that direct the air in from the top
can aid in flow compared to a bare carb top with choke etc. I guess the
free'est flowing would be a carb with the airhorn removed and a funnel. Mine
has no airhorn, and soon a filter with a filter top, I'll settle for that.

 

Only improvement could be cool air as Roland and others suggested, I know
it's free power, but I don't want the hoses in my engine room
