True.

I have always used the turkey pan gasket, and when I did the first 
engine rebuild, with the EFI, it was running extremely smooth, even with 
the Crane 284 degree cam.

After it ate a lobe in Italy I bult a new engine, with a Crane roller 
cam, and the idle stability has been marginal since. It behaves as if 
there is a vacuum leak.

I guess this will be a nice winters project, along with pulling the 
transaxle and installing my original flywheel and clutch, to see if the 
violent vibrations at certain RPM:s go away. I now have a Fidanza 
aluminum flywheel and Centerforce clutch.
