Yes, because the empty bracketry blocks needed airflow into the radiator 
and looks clunky with the fan motors gone. The sucker-fan setup WITH A SHROUD 
is far more efficient in moving air through the rad core at low road speeds, 
as the shroud forces air to pass through the entire core, not just two 11" 
disc-shaped areas as with the pusher fans. Swept core area is most 
important, not fan blade size or speed. 
The tilt- fwd configuration is only for convenience in hooking up the hoses 
and fans. There is no performance benefit in any reasonable radiator 
mounting position, but it certainly hurts to rub your hands and arms continually 
across a straight-up rad core during hookup- it's like a cheese grater and as 
Carroll Smith once said, 'blood is a poor lubricant and is slightly 
corrosive to light alloys'. Cheers- J Deryke
