people like us?

As you know, Peter is a pro mechanic and has friends in machine shops.  What about them makes them not rebuildable?  I'm sure the bore can be sleeved, but maybe there is something other than the bore that isn't worth doing, I'm not sure.

Anyway, assuming it can't be done, does anyone have experience with either of Mike's suggestions as to where to get 'em?

If he goes with a Ford-style master, who has the best adapter kit/price?

Next on the list for Peter's car is a rebuildable brake master cylinder.  Anyone have an old one laying around they would part with?  Also, where is the best place to buy a rebuild kit?

Stock brake master cylinders aren't rebuildable, at least, not by people like us.   He'll either have to buy a new factory-style master, or an adapter and a Ford-style master.

Mike
