Has anyone tried Milodon 40400 oil pan gaskets?  They describe them as:

CRUSHPROOF PREMIUM QUALITY OIL PAN GASKETS
Milodon oil pan gaskets will not crush, split, shrink or squeeze out like inferior oil pan gaskets. You couldn't tear them, even if you tried! Resistant to gas, alcohol and fuel. For leak free oil pan installation use the right gaskets the first time. You don't need an oil leak on your new motor because of a cheap set of $6 oil pan gaskets.

Also, if you have a removable cross-member to allow R&R'ing the oil pan, what's the best way to install the gasket?  It seems like if the gaskets are attached to both surfaces, it will be very difficult to scrape the residue off the block, and may be hard to separate the pan from the block?  Tom Monroe appears to suggest only using gasket sealer between the block and gasket, is that standard practice?  I assume it is NOT possible to only attach the gaskets to the oil pan because of the way the end seals engage the rail gaskets?
