I'm not in the oil business. Racing oil has very little PPM of detergents (
most 1/2 or less than conventional) and is designed for frequent changes
i.e. after each race.

I thought the distinction of "Racing Oil" these days was pretty much the
elevated Zinc & Phosporous content, in which case yes you do want to use
"Racing Oil" in a street Pantera, more so than the current "Street oil"
available.
