Wilkinson is currently building 2 Pantera's with supercharged 5.4's. One
will be around 800hp. I asked about the ZF. He said the same thing as
Mike... go easy on the launches, and the ZF will be fine.

How long is a piece of string?

There's no doubt that putting that much power behind a ZF and then driving
it in an irresponsible way will result in eventual damage. Lloyd Butfoy
has a 'hall of shame' filed with broken ZF parts, almost all of them a
result
of just what you're talking about. If you want to drive a car with a ton
of power and do drag race starts, find a Camaro or a Mustang or something
and
have at it.

Either that, or get to know Lloyd well and plan on putting his kid through
college!

Mike
