Matt...
I have BMW Recaro seats out of mid 80s cars. They are very comfortable, and I'm
very happy! If there is a down side, you have to make your own mounting
brackets. I bolted them to the floor, works for me! Check out this
site aardvarc at 2002parts.com
Just a thought

Howdy gang,
I've been looking for some aftermarket seats and need some help. I've decided my
Gary Herrig modified stock seats have served their time well and are due to
retire, at least from my ride.
I would like to support our vendors but as a side note I'm having a tough time
with the vendor websites. Most have not been updated and generally are user
un-friendly. PIM is ok but that's about it.
I don't get it but I'd guess most of us would enjoy buying more stuff online if
it was easier. I know pick up the phone. It's one thing to buy mechanical items
but you really need to actually see seats, since they are where your butt
goes,and that's a little more personal ;-)
Let me eliminate the obvious. As much as I respect Gary Herrig and his excellent
Corvette seats I just feel they belong in a Corvette. Same with the Fiero seats.
I think the PIM seats are Fiero but I'm not sure.
And the seats look great and I love Chevys and Pontiacs! It's just me I guess.
And they very well may be the best options available. I don't know.
That brings me to ask for help with leads for other available seats from any
vendors or private sellers.
Just looking for good support and semi comfort but not shells or full race.
If anyone has some advice I'd love to hear from you, on or off the forum. And if
you're listening,as you should, that includes vendors as well!
Thanks and happy trails my friends,
Matt
