He has never touched parts sales; he has only ever done service and 
restoration work.   In fact, from the start their businesses were physically 
co-located, but otherwise were completely unconnected.   Bob was/is in the parts 
selling business and Don was/is in the car fixing and restoring/modifying 
business.
