For what it's worth...

I had the chance to visit Pantera Performance Center in Castle Rock
Colorado last week. I got to talk with both Adam and Dennis. I was
there four hours shooting the breeze and learning really cool stuff.

They will take your original Brake booster and get it rebuilt for you.
As I recall, Adam said they have a local guy who totally refurbishes
them. They look beautiful. Then, they can sell you a great Wilwood or
Tilton (I forget which) master cylinder to go with it. They also sell
some great Wilwood brake setups. No pounding necessary to fit the
booster, the master bolts right in, no worries and modern parts. You
might give him a call.

As i begin to drive the car, i am finding a very soft, spongy pedal with a lot of travel. I plan to go to a bigger bore master cylinder. I could easily use the ford SVO 84-86 1.125" master cylinder, but I worry that might be too much the other way. Although other fords have had 1" master cylinders, they generally have an angled reservoir which just looks funny, but wilwood makes a 1" master cylinder that is more money.
