Did you consider the electric heater pump system described by John Taphorn:

and I think suggest my Mike Trusty? It requires some plumbing changes but has the advantage of getting the water lines out of the cockpit. Used Mercedes pumps seem to sell for about $70:

I have no direct experience, but I do have a lot of information. Perhaps nicest is the hose fittings
are all the correct 5/8" size for our heater hoses.
I have noticed the eBay auction for some time. Yesterday I did a bunch of
online and telephone research.
