[DeTomaso] Summit Radiator hose

I'm sure that stainless dissipates heat better than rubber, but is that a
good thing for an engine bay?

Perhaps there may be certain places where it won't do harm, but I would want
the cooling system to function as designed - carry heat away from the engine
bay to the radiator for it to be dissipated up front.

There's no reason that stock system shouldn't work just fine with rubber
hoses. To the contrary, creating little radiators in the engine bay may
create new, unforseen problems.

I wouldn't try it on my car...

I was reading a car magazine, and they had an article about redoing an
engine. One item that they added was a stainless steel radiator hose kit
(SUM-390500) from Summit. Summit claims that it dissipates heat better than
rubber. Thoughts from anyone???
