I ordered a new sanden comp not long ago from my local Napa and it was a "build to suit" type affair. We got the book out and chose the model that best fit my application then chose which fittings and which orientation I wanted.

Only issue with the 8390 that John referenced and I now have on 2511 is that it is a flare port head.
>>>That was the only number that I had handy. It might have been enough to get NAPA going in the right direction.
>>>If you order a Sanden compressor from AC Parts Warehouse, they will change the head for free (unless
>>>they stopped doing that). I spoke with Richard at AC Parts about this. He told me to do the online
>>>order and add the note re changing the compressor head. Call first to verify that they are still doing this,
>>>I got mine with o-ring hose fittings and R-12 charge ports.
The SD7H15 likely is a bit larger. Has anyone installed one of those in a Pantera yet?
>>>The SD7H15 has the same exterior dimensions as the 508. I have it installed on my Pantera.
Ready to give up on this yet?
>>>Information is good. : >)
John
