[DeTomaso] (Khamsin )are these pantera tail lights?

That was during the time DeTomaso ran Maserati so its not surprising the 
factory saved a few bucks here 'n there. I've used Maserati Merak/Bora 
amber-lens 'Euro' tail lights on Panteras and the wiring plugged right in; they 
didn't have any logos at all. 
FWIW, the original Khamsin design had the taillight assemblies mounted up 
on the glass, not low down on the body metal, but as usual, the U.S. DOT 
criticised the design as 'unsafe' and made Maserati move them to the only 
remaining area for gray-market importation. Where as noted they don't fit too 
well. Guess the DOT never heard of drilling holes thru glass panes with diamond
