Dear  Trip,


            In the course of fiddling with cooling problems, I have used an
infra red temp gun and shot various spots on the engine in the past.  IIRC,
the aluminum intake manifold runs about 125-150 degrees F.  The heads run
about 215 up to 250 degrees F.

Intake Operating Temp
I would like to know the normal operating temprature for a stock alum.
intake manifold - does anyone how hot it gets?
