[DeTomaso] Anyone used coolant hose from McMaster?

FWIW, the silicone hoses were optional on SSP Mustangs, and the California Highway Patrol did not use them; although I don't know if that holds true for all years (1982-1993). One thing to bear in mind is that the Pantera engine compartment is a lot tighter than the Fox body Mustang and hasmore potential objects to contact or rub your radiator hoses. But, I do know at least one person who uses silicone hoses and hasn't reported any problems.

Cheers!
Garth

I may not know what I'm talking about, but I owned an old highway patrol 5.0 Mustang that ran light blue silicone hoses from the factory, and never replaced them.  The car had 190k miles when I sold it and never had a problem with the hoses.

Just my 2 cents.
