I don't get it.
As long as the subject line contains "NPC" and has an obviously political content, why can't people just ignore it? No one is forcing you to open it, and if no one responds the poster will get it that no one here is interested.
Personally I like political discussions, but if I'm busy or not in the mood I just ignore them.

Instead of hitting the delete key, simply create are rule that moves
pecific posters or topics to your trash. This round unfortunately resulted
n two posters that I will never again receive their advice or insults. I'm
K with that.

Hit the delete key, or even block the posts from those you do not care to
hear from.

Why are we going through this again? This is a deTomaso forum, not a
political one. So many times in the past, someone irresponsibly submits a
post like Finch's which is somewhat like yelling "Fire!" in a theater. It
starts a huge diversion from the purpose of the forum ending days or weeks
later with several worn out delete buttons, hurt feelings, unsubscribers,
and the list administrator reminding everyone to be polite and keep posts
to
the purpose of the forum. This just isn't the place for "a thought
provoking posting" unless it has to do with deTomaso automobiles. No one
seems to have a problem with brief postings about other cars and the
occasional computer question. But, political postings always seem to
insight a riot and are inappropriate. If you're listening, Mr. List
Administrator, please consider putting a quick end to this and perhaps
banning anyone who continually hijacks the forum for personal or political
reasons.
