Mike, I read on Corey's blog that 6650 was a wrecked parts car....I assume
that's why it was cut up and donated...  (?)    I might be missing something
though...it's been known to happen.

Fascinating.

#6650 looked to be a good, solid car.   Why would somebody cut it up to 
transfer sheetmetal to #1998?
