[DeTomaso] Electrical Gremlins

Rob: 
1) I have absolutely no idea. 
2) I find the problem sort of funny. Then again, it isn't my car! 
3) While something is obviously not correct, you only need the fan running
when the door is closed, right? So practically speaking, is this a problem?

After two months of the dash being out of #1488, I got the newly recovered
dash and center console back in and it looks great in burgundy.  I've still
go a few electrical gremlins to work out though.  One issue was present
before I pulled the dash and I'm wondering if anybody else has this problem.

The manual switched radiator cooling fan only works when a door is closed.
 Open the door and it stops.
