Or maybe they don't know anything about Cobras or the replica business.

The description doesn't list it as an original or made by Shelby.  It simply
says it's a Cobra.  I've heard the same thing from owners of replicas.

Granted, they should have stated what kind of Cobra - Superformance, ERA,
CSX, etc., but it is more likely a poor sales job rather than intentionally
misrepresenting the truth.

 I wrote the seller stating it appeared to be a replica Shelby Cobra, but
they
were describing it as a Shelby Cobra, and noting it should have a CSX number
if it was a 2003 continuation Shelby built car.

Their reply?

"We appreciate your concerns"

They have made no changes or added any notes to the auction.

Makes you wonder what ELSE they are will to fudge the truth on....???
