[DeTomaso] 351C block needed in Germany

I was under the impression you cannot sleeve cylinders next to each other in a 351C as there's just not enough bore spacing, or is that a misconception on my part?
 
It can'tbe that expensive to get a bare block shipped from the US to Europe, surely?
