Clay,

Look at my steering rack mount on Mike Daly's Pantera Place website.  It
cured a lot of my steering anomalies.  It takes a little fabrication but it
eliminates the stamped sheet metal rack mount and it stiffens the chassis as
well.  If you are in Calif and you think you might want to do the mod, I
will gladly help.
