[DeTomaso] beading water tubes?

I used 14 gage solid copper wire to make a ring and then soldered it to keep
it in place.
SS solders nicely with the right flux and I can't weld SS so that worked for
me.

I bought some 1 1/2 stainless tubing to run under the car and am wondering
about getting a bead on it.  Is a bead necessary with a double clamped hose?
Is it easier to lay a small bead with a welder?
