[DeTomaso] NPC - Cordless Drill needed

I recently purchased a Dewalt 18V cordless drill. The 18V Dewalt has
significantly more oomph than the 9.6V Makita drill I've been using, and can
sink a 3-1/2" long #8 screw into solid hardwood without even blinking. I
really like it.
On the other hand - if you're interested, my now somewhat redundant Makita
cordless drill is now up for sale for $60. The Makita works perfectly
(though not as powerful as the Dewalt) and includes a charger, a fairly new
battery and plastic storage/carrying case.

The cordless drill that I have had about 5 years has finally quit. Don't
know if it is the batteries or the drill - but figure it's probably just as
cheap to buy a new one as to buy new batteries. --------
So, my question is what brand and model does anyone recommend?
Normal home type use.
Thanks, Bill Lewis
