According to all I have read and observed, one needs about 800RWHP (and gears) to make 200mph in the standing start mile.

and they had a quick shot of Darryls car... a member of Pcnc
at the Mojave Mile earlier this year
 
I think he hit 160 something as there was an additional
rev limiter that was holding him back.. he will be there later
this year trying to break 190 plus in his 528 inch monster"
