[DeTomaso] Safety Eyeglass Lenses For Racing Question

I'd imagine they need to be the same as any safety glasses used in the workplace i.e. meet an ANSI standard. What about if you got transition lenses that react to light intensity?
 
Some sanctioning bodies won't let you race with a raised visor.
