[DeTomaso] NPC Cushman

Bought a Cushman on the cheap to run welders and equipment back and forth
from my barn to the business:

I love the flatbed as I can load a welder real easy or haul tree limbs for
yard work.

Didn't like the ride. The thing is designed for industrial usage with
concrete floors. Placard gross weight of 2200lbs. It has 7 leaf springs. I
pulled 4 leaf springs out, threw a 400lb welder on it and it still did not
Flex.


SOOO....yesterday, cut some parts out of 1/4":

And built a triangulated 4-link over airbag:

Finishing up the welding today, break it down and throw some paint on the
parts. Back to working on the brakes.
