[DeTomaso] MSD 8920 Tach adapter

I purchased an MSD 8920 tach adapter . My car has an MSD 6AL, an MSD
8577 distributor and an MSD blaster coil. When I opened the package I was
surprised to see that there were two different sets of instructions. One
for  a voltage triggered tach and the other for a current triggered tach.
Can someone tell me which one is applicable to the Pantera with a stock
tach?
