I had no problem with the motor, I was just greedy for more air flow; volumes

Sounds like it. I can't remember if mine was labelled or not after this long but 
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a made-in-USA motor as-stock. Maybe your problem is in 
the wiring or the resistor, not in the motor? Curious- J DeRyke
