[DeTomaso] Automobile Stealth Paint?

Back in 2009 or so I received some photos of a Pantera from someone asking

me about this unusual shade of paint.  I promptly forgot to investigate!

 

The finish is too perfect for this to be some special primer.

 

Does anyone know what kind of paint this is?

 

It is listed here as an Unknown, as I don't know the VIN, owner, where the photos were
taken

or... what kind of paint!
