If someone destroys a Pantera, let's just hope it is a band rather than a
car.

Don't get me wrong; I would never, ever, want anyone to tell someone else
what they can or can't do with their own property. For instance, I really
resent the whole concept of "eminent domain," or being told who I have to
hire or fire, or being told I can't erect a carport on my own property, etc.
etc. etc.

I'm just saying that just because someting is legal doesn't mean it's in
good taste. I could eat a three-course meal in front of a starving child
and not be breaking any laws that might be on the books, but for me, that
would be an example of breaking a moral law. Each person has to decided for
him/herself what that kind of law is for them, and on what they base it.

Fortunately, the same freedom that allows someone to ruin a thing of beauty
is the same freedom that allows me to call them stupid. Let's all pray that
kind of freedom is never taken away from us, even if it means (sob!) someone
destroys, for instance, a Pantera in the name of entertainment. Just don't
expect me to watch it!

Sincerely,

Chris (who is unavoidably beginning to show his true political colors...)
