You are testing correctly. You should not have a "power off" draw of anything close to 250mA. Since you've tested all the fuses, disconnect the big wire on the alternator. You can very likely have bad diodes in the alternator. Most autoparts stores will test the alternator free. Have fun today, sobill at aol.com
